Our membership includes residents of both New Hampshire and Vermont, and activities occur in both states as well. Recent contributions to the community have included Step-It-Up rallies, joint sponsorship of the Trails Connect forum in Lebanon, and assistance with the Dartmouth Move-In sale to facilitate reuse of goods from year to year in the residence halls. Current issues of particular interest include transportation solutions, energy and climate change, and land usage. Opportunities to make a difference include the campaign to decomission the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant and the campaign against oil drilling in sensitive areas.
